Through the growth and stewardship of permanent endowment funds and the distribution of income to a wide range of eligible organizations, the Foundation strives to meet the needs of the local community as well as national and international Jewish causes.

Mission Statement
The Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Vancouver promotes the values of Klal Israel, Tikkun Olam and Tzedakah, and through the provision of planned giving opportunities and prudent financial management is committed to ensuring the long-term financial stability of the community and to providing opportunities for community members to leave a legacy that sustains those values.

Broad Objective of Grant Program

The Foundation's grant program supports opportunities that enhance Jewish continuity and deepen Jewish identity, enabling the Jewish community to keep its commitment to the Jewish people of British Columbia and Israel.

Grants can be made only to agencies with a Canadian registered charitable tax number. Please follow the instructions carefully to ensure that your project is eligible for consideration. Failure to apply in a proper or timely manner may jeopardize the consideration of your application.
